A temporary builders’ service (TBS) is what you need if you require a supply of electricity to your property during the construction period of your home or project.
This involves being granted temporary supply of electricity to a temporary location approved by the supply authority until the completion of construction. This temporary connection and point is replaced with a permanent connection once the building is completed, electrically compliant and ready for permanent connection.
A TBS installation may range from the installation of a completely temporary point of supply which will be removed when the construction period is over to the installation of a permanent point used but as a temporary point while your project is underway.
